Motorcyclists have had a long relationship with insects and we think that it’s high time that we honor them for what they are. Messy, occasionally painful and always ready to sacrifice themselves on a recently cleaned visor.
Proceeds from this years rally will go towards purchasing two money market CD's for the daughters of Reno NHP Trooper Kara M. Kelly-Borgognone, 33, who died in an on-duty traffic accident on February 25, 2008. The daughters are Blair (14) and Ashlyn (3).
As is our practice, we’ll be offering both the 250mile/6 hours and the 500 miles/12 hours loops but this year we’re adding a scored component. The 250 and 500 mile rider with the highest “bug body count” earns dinner for two at one of our local eateries.
We provide the bulls eye targets; place them on your bike and let the bug killing begin!
All entrants receive a t-shirt, decal and all the donuts and coffee they can handle prior to the start.
All finishers receive a trophy.
Map reading, answering questions along the route and riding safely are the name of the game.

Rally starts at 7 am.
Pre-registration $50 per entrant until July 22. From July 22 through August 15, all entry fees go to $60 (mailing of t-shirts & trophies).

Special awards for: “Oldest Rider”, “Largest Club Participation,” Longest Distance from Home”, and finders of the Lost Knight (each class).
